This week I started the new Ruby class taught by Ryan Davis in Seattle. I can already tell it is going to be great. He admitted to us that many of his clients using Rails DO NOT practice TDD (or BDD) when developing their apps and they suffer for it. Our homework will always be self-validating. Basically, he’ll ask us if our tests pass. He also will be teaching us idiomatic Ruby, as I hoped he would. It will also be hands on….need I say more!
