I recently took a job with a software vendor who has a great product. Due to market pressures, they build a new version of the product with all these wizbang new features . They HAD to get it out the door…and now the quality SUCKS!!! It is so buggy, it is unusable. Customers are understandably pissed. I think any product that people pay for should be usable out of the box….at the first release. A few bugs are expected and normal. Now my morale is low and I don’t know if I want to stay with the employer much longer (layoffs may be just around the corner).
